Make Your Cocktail Party Bar Memorable With These Tips

September 30, 2016

Your guests expect to toast you with a few drinks, but how can you make your bar memorable? One way to continue your chosen decor theme through is to the drinks served at the bar.

Make a big feature of your cocktail drinks area by hiring a cool Cocktails neon sign

Ask your venue to create pink watermelon cocktails for a pink themed event, serve drinks with striped straws in mason jars for a rustic theme or choose wines from your favourite region or country.

Get your caterer to provide beer- and/or wine-matching notes for guests with your canapes, entree, main meal and dessert.

Add blue food colouring  and red jelly fish to kids' lemonade glasses if you're having a beach theme party.

Cover beer bottles in reusable, personalised custom beer labels with your initials or with a design of your own.

Serve mini tacos, fish'n'chips, pizzas, pulled pork or beef sliders, or tapas plates to soak up the alcohol.

Keep drinks outdoors in a wheelbarrow, wooden trough, picnic basket, flower pots, or a spray-painted bathtub filled with ice for a rustic event.

Create a bar display with cute paper umbrellas, straws, swizzle sticks, celery sticks, and lemon and lime slices.

A gold bar cart trolley with liquor bottles, pretty glasses and lemons can look extremely effective for your cocktail party.
